After school there was a football game. This was against our rivals and everyone was going. August wanted to go so badly, but had a packed weekend and tons of homework. The only way her mom would let her go was if her homework was done. August was furious. Everyone was going to be there except her.

     Right before the football game she called her mom and told her she wasn't coming home. Her mom screamed through the phone that she was coming to pick her up as soon as possible. August was so mad she looked in her backpack and threw out her computer. She thought to herself if she could finish her homework before her mom got there she would be able to go to the game. August opened her computer and went to her onenote to do her homework. When she opened onenote it immediately said shutting down. August couldn't stand it.

     She went outside and ran to the football field. She threw her computer and it splashed into a puddle. She stomped on it, threw sand on it, and yelled at it. Soon all the kids coming to the game arrived. She moved away to the trees and noticed everyone running past and on the computer. No one cared or noticed it was there. This made her smile. August's mom came to pick her up and saw her computer in the puddle. She grabbed her by the shirt and practically dragged her in the car. August didn't mind going home now, she was kind of happy.
